About the story

Robert Munsch's daughter Julie ALWAYS found and opened the Christmas presents. She found them no matter where they were hidden: in the back of closets and in the very back of the most spider-infested part of the basement and in the high storage of the garage. She found them all. And every year on Christmas Day, she was unhappy because she knew what everyone was going to get and she was in a hurry for it to be over. What a mess! So when Munsch decided to write a book about Christmas he almost had it done before he began.
